AWET will carry out community engagements targeting artisanal miners (15+), men living with HIV (25+), adolescents and young women(10-24), Pregnant women (15+) in ward 18 & 19 Shurugwi.

Activities that where implemented :

Training of BCFs ( community-based volunteers) on HIV Sensitization
HIV testing sensitization and distribution of HIV self testing kits
Community engagement & sensitization on HIV and Antiretroviral Therapy
Setting up of the Buddy system to strengthen adherence to ART

AWET is committed to tackling the social-cultural challenges or barriers confronting Apostolic women in communities by mobilizing women of faith to deal with the challenges of their day to day lives.
